Hidcote

Today’s major activity was Hidcote Gardens

On the way there we got reacquainted with the English country one and-

a-half lane roads. Never a dull moment. (The sidewalks are narrow too. On our walk to the high Street there’s almost room on the sidewalk for people to walk one abreast.)

But what a beautiful array  of gardens!

In this next one we came to an overlook into a lower part of the garden and stepped out as if it were a balcony. A woman down below called out, “you’re so cute, let me take your picture”. When we went down to meet her and get the picture I commended   her keen eye and told her that we didn’t usually get recognized when we went out in public.😊

Here’s a couple more but to actually see how beautiful it is you’re just going to have to visit here yourself

😊

We realized today that we’re actually pretty jet lagged! It’s possible we’re not as young as we were in 2012 when we last came here and don’t remember having any Jetlag. It seems unfair but…

If we have to be tired, we’re in a gorgeous place for it and the weather has been absolutely perfect so far. I think tomorrow we’re hoping to go to Bourton on the Water. Until next time, tootles!
